Allbrook Parish Council require a Part-time Allotment Officer

Allbrook Parish Council is seeking to recruit an Allotment Officer to start September 2021 following the retirement of the current post holder.

The Council has two sites: Broomhill Allotments and Lincolns Rise Allotments

Responsibilities of the role include: managing the waiting list, administration of all aspects of letting to tenants which includes issuing of rent invoices and collation of monies, liaison with site representatives, preparation of agenda and minutes of the Allotment Committee and reporting to the Council bi-monthly.      

The ideal candidate must have had previous experience in an administrative position. Essential attributes include good IT capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, administrative and financial skills and the ability to be flexible and work on their own initiative.  Some knowledge of allotments is preferred, but not essential.

Part time:  Salary £10.04 per hour, average of 3 hours per week (this post may require additional hours for attendance at meetings and in September for issuing of invoices).
